Ferret found in NYC

I received a call today: a ferret was found in a park in upper Manhattan.
The ferret has been to a vet already, appears to be in good health and
is staying at the vet's for a couple of days in the hope its owner or
another home can be found.
 
Anyone lose a ferret?  Please e-mail or call me at 800-9FERRET and
I'll put you in touch with the people involved.
