Fleas!

HELP me!  My ferrets have fleas.  I would like some suggestions that would
get rid of these things, but be safe to the ferrets.  I have tried giving
them a bath with ferret shampoo, this seems to kill them for the time
being, but they come back.  I guess I need to also get the fleas out of the
house.  My fuzzballs must have brought them in from outside.
 
Smokey-  get these darn things off of me!!!!!
Phylis-  Let me into the couch so I can hide from the fleas!!!
