"Wow," Rosie exclaimed. "Look at all of the lights of the city!"
"This is neat!" Maxie added, scanning the houses far below which were
all aglow with brightly-colored Christmas lights.
"Whooo-whoo!" Came a voice behind the girls.
    "Who's there?" Wiggles asked.
"That's what he said!" Santa answered, chuckling loudly. "This is my
friend Oliver!"
"Yes indeed!" The large, white owl that had landed on the front of the
sleigh said. "Are you out delivering your presents tonight?"
    "Of course!" Santa answered.
"Wow!" Wiggles shouted, looking over her shoulder. "You are albino
like me!"
"Oliver is a snowy owl!" Santa declared. "He is white to blend in
with the snow in this land!"
    "Oh," Wiggles responded. "I understand."
"Have a great Christmas!" Oliver said as he flew off.
    "You too!" Sammi replied.
"Okay girls," Santa said. "Ready for our first delivery?"
"Yes!" The ferrets exclaimed in unison.
"Okay," Santa replied. "See that house down there?" They looked down
below and saw a large home all lit-up with Christmas lights.
    "Yeah!" The girls responded.
"Take us to the rooftop!" Santa intstructed. "Easy now on the landing!"
"Here we go!" Rosie stated as the ferrets dipped their flight to aim
themselves directly with the house below.
    "Steady now!" Santa yelled.
"Yippee!" Sammi shouted as they flew swiftly towards the ground, as
the house became closer and closer.
"Woah!" Santa informed. "We're going too fast!"
"AAAAHHHHH!!!" The girls screamed as they crashed into a large, glass
window to the house.
"Oops..." Shiva declared, looking around at the inside of the residence.
A very tall Christmas tree stood right in front of them in the living room.
The room was very dark, and Santa grimaced as he shook his head.
"Maybe you will get the hang of this after a while..." He said to the
girls.
"Who are you?" A tiny voice announced from across the room.
"We are Rosie, Maxie, Wiggles, Shiva, Sammi, and Santa Claus," Rosie
answered, searching for the voice. "Who are you?"
"My name is Snuggles," The little ferret said to them as he came right
up to them.
"Hi, Snuggles," Maxie stated. "Do you live here?"
"Yeah," He answered her. "My humans are asleep upstairs."
"I can't believe that they slept through our crash!" Wiggles exclaimed.
"Well," Snuggles replied. "You woke me up! What are you doing anyway?"
"What does it look like?" Shiva answered, motioning to Santa, who was
unloading gifts from his bag and placing them under the tree.
"Is that REALLY him?" Snuggles asked.
    "Who?" Sammi said.
    "Santa Claus?" Snuggles declared.
"The one and only!" Rosie stated.
"How did you guys get to go along with him?" Snuggles asked.
"Our humans don't know that we are gone!" Shiva said.
"Yeah," Maxie added. "Got any raisins, Snuggles?"
"Sure," Snuggles answered. "Here..." He handed her a pawful of the
juicy morsels that ferrets so prized.
    "Thanks," Maxie said.
"Boy," Snuggles stated. "Wait until my friends find out about me
meeting Santa Claus!"
"Ready to go, girls?" Santa asked politely. "We've quite a few more
houses to visit before the night is done."
"I'll let you go," Snuggles said.
"Take it easy!" Rosie declared, as the girls turned around, ran, and
flew out of the wide-open window sill.
"Off we go!" Santa exclaimed, in the sleigh behind the flying ferrets.
