I was checking on Merry more often last night and noticed that she is
feeling a little better. I was watching TV and she came up on the couch
and put her paws on my knee just looking at me. This is the "Mom it's
time to eat posture". Each time she wants something, either a drink or
food, etc. she will do the same pose. She looks at me so thoughtfully
it's a wonder she just doesn't start saying "Would you hurry up with the
grub woman!" She is such a good communicator. So after she had dinner
she went under my blanket (it's cold on these OH winter nights) and
curled up next to me. I was shocked! Merry has never been a cuddler and
won't let you hold her for more than a minute. She would peek her nose
out of the blankets every 15 minutes or so and then squirm around to find
a comfy spot again. She hung out with me for about an hour. I was so
pleased. I've never received such a wonderful gift. My little princess
wants to show that she loves me, even if she doesn't want to be held.
Just thought I'd sh are.
