Hey shelters & rescues, don't you just love these people who intend on
dumping their ferrets on you that act like their doing YOU a HUGE favor
because Bandit comes with this wonderful cage and all of his toys...and
oh, bonus,...he has papers too! Well zippidee do da. You definitely
get the responsible ferret companion award for including all of these
wonderful things while you abandon your animal that you have most
likely had since it was a kit and is now four plus years old.

One time I had a guy with enough nerve to tell me I was making quite
a living.... A LIVING MIND YOU....at this because we charge adoption
fees. Even better, AFTER you explain to them that the ferrets can go
through stress that could kill them, they have the nerve to insist
that they just don't have time anymore and it just isn't fair to poor
Bandit. Do they even realize that it is THEIR actions that are most
unfair??

I am so fed up with people today...mostly because I just saved a kid
like this from passing from shelter stress. I found the tell tale
bloody poo on saturday and got him pooing normal by last night...but
it is so evident in the actions of these two-Richie and Alex that they
don't want anything to do with me, other ferrets and even squabble
amongst themselves sometimes. Richie refuses to eat on his own and has
to be hand fed. Caroline took them in to 24/7 foster care today and she
said they seemed to perk up when she loaded them in to the car...poor
kids probably thought they were going home. Even as I hand fed Richie
this weekend, it seemed as though he was biting at the dropper more out
of anger than to take the food.

Ok, that's out of my system...btw, my cards for the exchange will be
going out in a couple days, I've been sick since last week and today
was the first day I even felt up to doing anything.
