Some of you may remember last year when I helped to smuggle two ferrets to
Honduras.

Yesterday I got e-mail from Tom, their caretaker, and it seems he ran out
of IAMS, had been waiting a month for the IAMS he ordered, and his ferrets
won't eat anything else. He has resorted to syringe force feeding them to
keep them going until the food arrives.

I picked up a bag of IAMS at PetsMart and packaged it up and took it to
the airport and shipped it on a flight that arrives in Honduras today. He
just paid $65.00 for an 8 pound bag of IAMS! Of course I suggested that he
start mixing in a locally available food so that he doesn't run into this
problem again.

Never again will I moan about having to make a ferret food run three miles
down the road to Petsmart.

For the ferrets,
Mike
