About a year ago, Greta started having coughing and wheezing "attacks". I
brought her to a vet with limited knowledge of ferrets (for lack of knowing
of a vet that knows ferrets) and he said he thought she has asthma. He
gave me an antihistamine (Chlorpheniramine?) to give to her when she has
a problem breathing. So far it has seemed to work. She only gets these
"atttacks" maybe once or twice a month, and when I give her a pill, she
gets better right away.

I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of this before. Is this diagnosis
correct or could it be something else? I guess I shouldn't be too concerned
since I seem to have it under control-just curious. (Interestingy, I was
just diagnosed with asthma and so far they can't find anything to treat me
with that works!)

Tuesday night is when "America's Greatest Pets" is on (8:00 central time).
I would think it will be loaded with ferret sightings since we all KNOW
that ferrets are America's GREATEST pets!!! My eyes will be pealed...

Barb and the ever-lovin' fuzzies, Lucy (Am I the only one around here
that can breathe right?) & Greta (Stuff a sock in it!... wheeze,
