Ethoxyquin does NOT cause cancer.  It has been associated with discoloring
the livers of chickens but NOT cancer.
 
Unless you can send everyone a citation which shows that it does.  In my
research I couldn't find any last year.

Ferrets do not get sick from Mazuri Ferret Food.  It is a fine food but
not our preference.  But some very responsible and knowledgeable folks do
use it.
 
The original fears about ethoxyquin can be traced back to a single dog
breeder who was looking for a scapegoat to blame her breeding problems on.
Lacking the ability to find a more logical reason she blamed ethoxyquin.
