Hi everyone,
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who wrote to me with duck
soup recipes.  I think I have managed to come up with a pretty good
conglomeration.  While looking for chicken livers (there is a weird
shortage of them around here-- Stop and Shop and Whole Foods were both
completely out) I found out that Whole Foods carries pre-ground organic
chicken with the bones and everything, sold as pet food!  I mixed some
of that with chicken baby food, soaked some kibble in warm water (making
something I can only describe as kibble stock before I mushed it up--mmm)
and threw that in too.  Lola loves it!  She is in fact sitting in my lap
with her dish, slurping it up right now.  Again, thank you guys.  Oh, and
thanks for telling that Pred shouldn't be given on an empty stomach-- my
vet wasn't clear about that.
