Okay, you all may think I am nuts, but I truly believed I knew where
everything dangerous was in my house, boy was I wrong!!!! Fish hooks are
not fun when mixed up with a 3 1/2 old fert. Poor Alfred, he found Chris'
back pack and managed to open. We caught a 2 pounder. After he squeeled
and squeeled and I almost had a heart attack we managed to determine there
was no threat to the life of my newest baby. God it was two in the morning,
we cut as much off as possible with plyers but couldnt get it out, man I
have never heard such a racket. Since he was Okay the Vet agreed to 8am
Sunday morning. It was a little comical, please don't be mad at me. The
Vet made a comment about biker ferrets with nose rings and tatoos in their
ears. He really was fine, you cant even tell where the hook came out. To
my surprise my Vet told me that he takes out about five of those a year,
from dogs and cats anyway. Well watch out for your fishing tackle boxes.

To Will, yes I know of two ferret type shelters, one in Seattle and the
other on Mercer Island. I remember them from when I lived there a couple
of years ago. Ed lipinski manages a shelter on Mercer Island, Northwest...
or something. Cant remember the other, but it should be listed somewhere.
There is a ferret specialist I used to go to named Dr. Deeb as well. Sorry
I cant be more specific

Dooks to all, Kathleen and her fuzzy twits=20
