Hi, recently I was told to watch for additional signs of Adrenal disease
in my ferret. This is an update on Mr. Ferret. I hope you all remember
this story! (Ear sucking)

Well, I messed up on my ferrets age. Mr. Ferret was purchased as a kit
Christmas of 1999, so he is more than 2 years old. He does have a thinned
tail on the underside and the skin looks rough in that area. He does not
suck all the time, maybe every other day or so. He started sucking when
he was about a year old.

My question is...how long do I have if he does have early signs of
adrenal? I am a jobless college student and I love my ferrets to death,
but it will take me time to save up money to get him fixed up. (check
up, possible surgery) I know my parents will help me out if it is
necessary to be done right away.

How much did it cost to have your ferret fixed up? I need prices so I
will have an idea of what I'm looking at. I will contact my vet when I
have an idea of how much it will cost. I will have to travel to greater
lengths to find an experienced vet around here. The one closest to me
doesn't know much about ferrets at all. Again, thank you for your time!
