Hi

I recently dropped a book off to a lady that sometimes goes to my church.
She has two extremely sweet fuzzies and because they are moving to
Florida, she is just giving them away.I hadn't planned on adopting any
right away, but I am seriously considering taking these because one of
them has a horrible looking growth on the underside of its tail.It is not
a smooth symmetrical lump, but looks like several lumps growing together.
I've had fuzzies for the last 7 years but I've never seen anything like
this before and my vet isnt very ferret knowledgable.I didnt touch the
lump but it appeared to be moist and a little reddish. The poor baby
appears in good health now, but I am concerned this could be malignant and
could be very expensive to treat. The woman seems like she would just give
them to anyone and I am very concerned about the possibility of them
ending up with someone who doesnt care or can't afford treatment.I told
her I would get back with her Mon or Tues.If anyone can give me any info
as to what this could be, please email me privately. Thanks!

Kathy
