Well here is the latest scoop on the Ferret Legalization Poop in the
tornado ravaged, Oylmpic scandled ridden city of Salt Lake, Utah.

Salt Lake City falls under the animal control jurisdication of Salt Lake
County. Salt Lake County is about 99% finished with inacting the new
Animal Ordinance that will legalized Domestic Ferrets in Salt Lake County.
So, what does that mean Ferret Fans??? By definition, Ferrets are legal to
own and sell in Salt Lake City, Utah. YEAH YEAH YEAH. The pet stores are
already ringing the bells off of Marshall Farms trying to fill their stores
with Ferrets. (U.F.O. is not happy about that) Ferrets can freely walk
the streets now with their humans, as long as they are registered and have
their up to date vaccinations (FERRETS TOO).

The Ferret ownership classes will begin in the next month. Although
required by the ordinance, it will be very difficult to establish, but we
are hoping people will attend, for if any reason, to help them figure out
these complicated critters.

Now, for all of you outsiders who do not live behind the ZION CURTIAN
(thats C. Garcia), does this mean every place in the huge 1 million plus
population of Salt Lake County, Ferrets are legal. NO NO NO. Salt Lake
County is made up of over a dozen small cities that have their own animal
controls and ordinances. So we now have to wait and see about such places
as Murray, Utah, Midvale, Utah, West Valley City, Utah, South Salt Lake
City, Utah, Draper, Utah, Holiday, Utah, and my place of residence and
the home of the biggest Ferret hating bunch of assbackwards Animal Control
Officers and pocketed politicians Sandy, UTah.

So a major battle is won for Ferrets in Salt Lake County. The war is not
over. If you would like to help us influence the politicians of Sandy,
Utah (tourism is very big here and they are expecting very positive images
for the 2002 winter olympics. Several hotels have recently went up here
and a POSITIVE image is what they are looking for)
