Pam passed on to greater things on Thursday at 1 PM.  Celia is one of three
surviving ferrets at Ferret Wise from a VT breeder rescue in 1995.  All 15
ferrets which arrived at Ferret Wise were victims of starvation and extreme
abuse/ neglect.  However, they all overcame great obstacles and finally
learned the joys of being a ferret.
 
Celia will be missed.  She had been diagnosed 16 months ago with
insulinoma, and had done remarkable well in her hospice environment.  Celia
Joins her group mate Betsy, another VT rescue ferret who passed on in
February of this year due to insulinoma.
 
We ask everyone to say a quiet prayer for all the ferrets left behind, that
they may know loving hands and gentle hearts and live a healthy life.
