I know this subject has been mentioned in the past, but I thought I'd put my
two cents worth in about pine litter. A few months ago I purchased this
litter through a health food store in my town. There were several things
I did not like about it: as soon as urine hits a pellet, it completely
disintegrates; pellets disintegrate into a dust, which can be harmful if
inhaled; pellets do not absorb for nearly as long as recycled newspaper
pellets; and dust can be tracked all over the place. Probably the only
thing I did like about it was the smell, and the price wasn't that bad
either. I prefer the recycled newspaper pellets, so that's what I'll stick
with.
