I am about a week behind in reading the FML, so please ignore any questions
that have already been answered. I will eventually get caught up.

Do you mean the issue from April 11? On Friday (April 16) I went to the
back issues dept. at the Post & bought the April 11 issue. This is pretty
embarrassing, but I am darned if I can find the article mentioned. Where
in the paper does it occur? Could the article have been in the April 4
issue of the Post, or in the News or Newsday? Any direction would be
greatly appreciated.

[Moderator's note: Did a search on Lexis -- the article was on April 4th
on page 45. BIG]

Please, if you have details (name of test, type of test, etc.) post a short
description of it. Many of us (well, me at least) are unaware of this
breakthrough & need the info to pass along.

Negative eyewitness accounts: I always take these with a grain (pound) of
salt. What I may consider animal abuse others consider good, clean fun
(for example, dressing ferrets up like dolls), or vice versa (I use
Febreeze occasionally; others consider this the equivalent of animal
testing). Difference of opinion, and that's OK. Until I see & can
evaluate the situation myself, I tend to believe that anyone who is
interested enough to subscribe to this list probably is trying to provide
a good environment for the animals in their care. And I know that
potentially all of us can be (certainly I have been) over- whelmed
temporarily by circumstance.
