We have two macaws and three ferrets.  The only problems that we have
is that one of the parrots is really aggressive towards any of the
household animals, and will attempt to bite any within reach.  The
bird has bitten our greyhounds, the cat (who catches wild birds), and
who is scared of even our dwarf macaw.  This bird have bitten our
gerbils if he could have gotten the cage top off.  So far, the ferrets
have managed to stay away from him.
