I really feel funny giving details of Dr. Weiss' pricing on his video.  So
I apologize to him for betraying any confidentiality.
 
No Dr. Weiss did not charge for the surgeries.  He came into his office in
off hours and performed the surgeries.  He had to rent the hospital (yep
they made him rent it for the day).  He tried to pick people whom spend
thousands of dollars with him each year to help our overburden purses.  He
also had to take the chance and pay out of his pocket for a professional
come to shot the footage and edit it.  It's done professionally.
 
I assume that if a Vet wanted to take a course in such surgeries, it would
be more expense.  Or if they wanted to fly and observe Dr. Weiss, it would
be more expensive and they wouldn't have the added benefit of having the
tape to review, if it's a procedure not done very frequently.
 
Robynn you might want to hold off on ordering for a couple months.  Dr.
Weiss would like to help shelters, so it's possible that he comes up with
a way in the future.
 
Dr. Weiss is trying to help as many vets as possible without spending so
much time on the phone etc.  I think it's very nice of him to share as much
as he does with ferret vets across the land.  He is always there.  This man
is there day or night for the shelter and believe me, he as a lovely family
that he should be spending his time with.  While researching the cryo
surgery - he gave me such a break in price, that I was able to get 7 done
for the price of one.  He has plans for the money he makes that will help
all ferrets, not just his clients ferrets.  I thank God, that he is an
innovative as he is.
