deana our males also get that skunk smell between their ears.  They are
descented but i remember reading somewhere that males have 2 scent glands
and the females have only one.  The second one on males is either by or in
their brain the vets will know and is not removable.  I've always assumed
this is why they have that scent sometimes.  I don't believe we've noticed
it on the females.  This is just my idea when we give them a bath we try to
make sure we get that area good but sometimes it doesn't help.
