Got a flyer in the mail from Ferret Depot and noticed they have a full
page ad on the inside back cover of this month's Ferrets Magazine.
Anyone tried them out?

Checked them out online to see how they compare to The Ferret Store.
Their prices on just about every product are cheaper plus they carry a
lot of things the Ferret Store doesn't. For example, I've been wanting
to get one of those playpens you can take outdoors. Ferret Depot has one
by Prevue for only $29.99. The cheapest equivalent at The Ferret Store
is by Midwest and costs $47.99. They also don't sell any of the junk
food treats that The Ferret Store continues to sell (I did notice they
now how "Healthy" separated from the junk but they're still selling it)

Plus: prices are cheaper on individual products

Negative: they charge shipping (Ferret Store is free for orders over
$35.00)

However, for smaller orders, Ferret Depot is definitely cheaper. I
checked out some things I normally buy and how they compare:

FERRET DEPOT:

N-Bone Treats - 4 packages at $1.79 each = $7.16
FerretVite 4.25oz = $3.29
FuzzEFloor (huge hammock) = $10.99
SHIPPING = $6.44

Ferret Depot total: $27.88

FERRET STORE:

N-Bone Treats - 4 packages at $2.59 each = $10.36
FerretVite 4.25oz = $4.69
FuzzEFloor (huge hammock) = $13.68
SHIPPING = $7.94

Ferret Store total: $36.67
