Fuzztek Shelter has been a dedicated ADV+ shelter for the past five
years.  Yvonne has taken in numerous ADV+ ferrets from other shelters and
the general public in order to stem the spread of this disease and allow
ADV- shelters to protect the health of the other ferrets in their charge.
 
Yvonne has asked me to let the ferret community know that due to a
personal situation, she is suspending all further intakes, regardless of
ADV status.  Yvonne wishes to let you all know that this is not health
related, it is a personal situation.  She will continue to be a resource
for ADV related advice and support.
 
Yvonne still has over 34 ADV+ ferrets in her care, and they will remain
with her.  She will just cease taking any new ferrets in for the
foreseeable future.  She thanks everyone for their support over the
years.
