For those who wanted to know, I went to this pet shop Monday night. They
were out of ferrets. They had a sale on them so they were all gone.
Now, the cage they were in was full of those pine shavings but there was
a huge full water bottle, litter box, food dish full of Marshalls, and a
couple toys. Also they had good books on ferrets and lots of accessories
for them.

They had two baby pot belly pigs, bunnies, chinchillas, assorted birds
and fish, some Himalayan kittens and lots and lots of different breeds of
puppies. The place was packed with people looking at the puppies too.

I have to say though, that place was clean and well stocked. The fish
tanks were decorated well too. Last time I was there it was like the
owner was trying to be as cheap as possible. Animals had nothing extra.
Fish tanks had fish but no rocks or anything. The place smelled horrid.

So last night was surprising to me. I still feel bad for those animals
there. And I can't help wondering how many of those baby ferrets will
end up at 24K Shelter.
