I am behind on the FML, and after my horrible experience with my first
rescue (the follow up story may not have been printed on today's digest
due to it's length; in which case I will re-enter it in two sections
tomorrow)...I just read Dec.19 digest and Erika's sock story took away my
sad tears and I actually laughed outloud.  It was so refreshing that I
printed it to send to me 89 yr.old mother who shares my sense of humor
with abandonment.  Thank you Erika for lighting up my gloomy day!!  This
is a classic!
