Muppet Ferret.
 
In the _Muppets Tonight_ they call him "Fred" at in one of the first shows
someone said, "we don't know what he is, but his name is Fred."
 
"Fred Ferret" sounds Muppety to me!
 
we all watch it, glued to the screen playing "spot the ferret".
 
(maybe he's supposed to be a weasel or a mongoose...his coloration is
more mongoosy... but we still insist he's a ferret.)
 
I have a S.E.Asian friend who semi-Jokingly calls Elric a Mongoose.
("but they're no relation!"
"yeah so?!")
