Last month Sharon posted about afghans that were being made in exchange for
a donation. I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful these afghans
are.

They are crocheted with a nice heavy weight yarn that is very soft. They
are also more than big enough for my two babies to cuddle up on together.
I put the afghan on the floor and Maggie immediately staked it as her own.
Butch could be on it for a few minutes but she made sure he knew it was
hers! They come in several colors and are $15.00. I also got a receipt
for my donation from the Animal Hospital letting me know what the money was
used for. And of course I made a new friend that I can talk ferrets to!

If anyone would like more information please contact me and I'll put you in
touch with Sharon. Like the rest of us here, she's working hard to improve
the lives of the fuzzies under her guardianship. So, buy an afghan and
help a fuzzie!

Connie, Butch (Mom, she's not sharing), and Maggie (Mom can you get him his
own? Please?)

"I am sometimes asked, "Why do you spend so much of your time and money
talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?
I answer, "I am working at the roots."
