I have been using the Merial vaccine since it came out and I'm very happy
with it. I have had only one reaction - that one did require aggressive
treatment, but he recovered quite well, and he had also reacted to the
Fervac. Everybody else - including ferrets that had reacted to Fervac in
the past - has done beautifully with it.

Hi Ben,
I have been using the Merial Purevax distemper vaccine since the fall.
So far I have had 2 vaccine reactions. One had a vaccine reaction last
year to Fervac-D. The other one had not had any previous vaccine
reactions. 3 other ferrets that had reacted last year to Fervac-d did
not react this year to the Merial Purevax-d. I would say it is LESS
reactive but not totally reaction free.
