If you never thought about adopting before, maybe consider adopting
now from a shelter near you. This would help the shelters make room to
take in some of the DMK ferrets and take care of any health problems,
behavior problems and getting them neutered before they are adopted
out. We need to make sure these ferrets don't just get into homes, but
get into forever homes.
