Hey Folks,

On Sunday, I will be picking up 13 ferrets from a family in Lincolnton,
NC who have fell on serious hard times. This is a huge undertaking
since we have also taken in 13 other ferrets at the shelter this month
and several more taken in by foster homes. Here is what I know I know
about them to this point;

6 are 4 years old
5 are 3 years old
2 are 2 years old

All of various colors/sexes. Owner is putting together information
sheets and a picture of each one and whom it is bonded with to assist
in getting them ready for adoption. I will post this information on

These ferrets have not been vetted or vaccinated since they got them
and all were bought as kits. All will need to be vetted and vaccinated.
The cost for physical, bloodwork, fecals, ADV testing & vaccinations
will average per ferret, $100.00 (1300.00) younger ferrets to 150.00
older ferrets (1950.00). We need your help.

Donations are tax-deductible. Dr. Spindel of Animal Ark will be doing
the physicals in 3 groups of; 6 - 4 yr olds first, 5 - 3 yr olds and
2 - 2 yr olds. Donations can be made directly to his office
