So many people emailed me asking for hammock and sleep-sack pattern that
New England Ferret Foster, Education, and Rescue, Inc (NEFFER) decided to
launch the "2003 Hammock Drive" and publish hammock-making instructions
on our website!!  The full-color page on making a simple fabric hammock,
with instructions AND photos, can be found at
www.neferrets.org/hammock.htm
 
The "2003 Hammock Drive" initiative is an ongoing project to collect
hammocks to distribute amongst the shelters in New England.  There is
also a page on our web site about the Hammock Drive, at
www.neferrets.org/hampage.html.
 
If you use our pattern and instructions, please consider making and
donating a hammock to either our Hammock Drive or to a shelter near
you if you live far away!!
