Hi,

We down here in the depths of the Great Southern Land (Australia) don't `
have a lot of variety in our ferrets. We mainly have albinos, sables,
black-eyed-whites, silver mitts and a sort of cinnamon colour has recently
appeared. This is probably due to the small number of initial imports from
Europe and that ferrets are still primarily used in Australia as a humting
animal. A few of us are trying to promote them as pets and think it would
be fantastic if we could introduce a few more colours and types to get
peoples attention.

I am looking for ANY information (and photos would be great) of different or
unusual looking ferrets. I am especially interested in the genetics of the
various varieties and am very interested in the "angora ferrets".

Does anyone have any information they could send to me? I would be very
grateful.

My Email is not getting the FML as of 2 days ago and it would be great if
people could Email me directly (I am currently travelling around Australia
using a crummy old laptop). My address is mailto:[log in to unmask]

Thanks for your help in advance.

Michael Curry,
President-Ferret PAWS Inc. Australia.
