Hi - I'm looking to buy a ferret, probably in a month or two.
Descented and fixed is preferable. Anywhere in the Metro-NY area
might be OK, but I'm from Rockville Centre (S-Central Nassau), so
somewhere on the Island, that I could drive to, would be best.
My wife and I would like a place where we could see a few, and pick
them up and play with them... I would imagine you could do that
in a pet store, but I've heard such bad things about pet stores.
Will breeders let you see a few? I've never dealt with a breeder
before. I looked at the FAQ for breeders, but it wasn't clear to
me which of those names were actually breeders... They seemed more
like ferret orgs...

Anyway, any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Mike
