Make something similar to a play tent, but line the bottom with ceramic
tile.  ceramic satys real cold and provides a good portable way to keep
your ferret cool.  Tent will provide shade and ferrets will like enclosed
area.  If you need some more help, put the bottom of the ceramic on top of
an ice bath, that will definitely keep the ceramic cold and your fuzzies
cool, too!  What is great, is it is portable.  You can even design it so
that they can drink from the water bath as well.  Have all kinds of fun
with it.
 
Tubes submerged partially in ice baths are another great way to help your
fuzzy stay cool and have fun at the same time.
