I talked to our vet last night and he was brimming with thank you's
for the bd acknowledgements he received from all over. He kept saying
thank you thank you thank you so I know he very much appreciated the
thoughts, pictures, and cards. We didn't talk long but I could tell
that what he received made very positive and feel-good impressions.

Thank you to all that honored our vet for his birthday, and if anyone
meant to but didn't get around to it, there is still time to send a
belated bd card or ferrety picture.

I don't know if anyone else would be interested in doing this for their
vet, but from my experience I can assure you that it will put a smile
on their face and warmth in their heart.  It doesn't have to be for a
bd, it could be just a 'thank you' or 'have a nice day', just a little
something to acknowledge their dedication.
