Frankly, I was afraid to.
 
But I do agree with you.  I was, again frankly, appalled.  Puma
obviously, at least to me, seems upset by the changes in her life-style.
Even humans can become upset by changes such as a move.  Biting her
back, while probably satisfying, isn't going to help.  In fact, I would
think it would make things worse.
 
I was going to suggest giving Puma time to adjust.  Give her time-outs.
Give her more attention.  Give her a schedule she can count on.  Wear
thick clothing, heavy knee socks, something so she can't bite as easily.
Be more reassuring.
 
For God's sake, just stop biting her.
