Dear Diane and other FMLers:
The ants are a result of the heat.  They are also looking for water, and
will go to any water source.  If you have a water bowl for your ferrets, I
would suggest using a water bottle instead.  But they will be lead to that
if the water bottle drips or has a drop coming out of it.  It is something
that we put up with until the winter here in Louisiana.
