Hi,

Scott, please cease the feeding of tortilla chips to your fuzzy
immediately. In addition to them being totally unsuitable for a ferret
(an obligate carnivore), to ingest, the majority of brands are loaded
with salt.

The absolutely best treat that you can feed to your ferret is cooked
(or raw if you prefer) meat. If you wish to go with the store bought
treats, here are two meat-bassed treats which my three ferrets go nuts
for. The first are Chicken Bits by Totally Ferret, which are simply
naturally preserved bits of chicken cooked to crunchy perfection. They
also love Pure Delights by Wellness, a cat treat which is 90% turkey.
The other 10% is a combination of garlic and whey. They are both
relatively inexpensive and can be found at PETCO as well as other pet
stores.

I hope this helps.

Randie
