I have a couple ideas that may be helpful so here goes -

When sending a donation we could include a slip of paper that has our
mailing address and email address so the receiver can either email or send
a postcard. We can also include a stamped return addressed postcard so it
could be sent back if we prefer.

For those of us that receive donations, we can send a postcard or email
simply saying Thanks. Too many times we do forget to thank someone for
their kindness in our everyday lives. It is amazing what saying Thank you
can do for someone. I know how busy life can be, but remember, every
single donation we receive is sent because someone believes in us and what
we are doing. They don't have to give and we shouldn't expect them to.
They give from the heart and a simple thank you is heart warming.

I buy a book of postcard stamps, either buy or make up my own postcards (on
cardstock and cut to size) and stamp the postcards so they are ready to go
when I need to send them out. If I have the email address I send an email
note or card saying Thank you but if I don't I send the postcards. Don't
forget the internet has tons of free virtual cards you can send. If I
don't have time to send thanks I keep the envelopes or mailing labels in a
file so that when I do have time I can send them. I really enjoy sending
the email cards. :-)

In our busy lives, it's important to think of others. No one likes being
taken for granted and wanting to know that your donation was received and
appreciated (even if it is only $1) is extremely reasonable.

And Thanks to all our supporters. You are truly appreciated. :-)

Warm hugs to all. tle
