My Roxy is going to HAVE to have emergency surgery on Saturday. It is
pretty much a given that she has a blockage. What we "thought" was black
tarry stool, has turned out to be stomach contents. She had a barium,
given that has been slowly moving, and the hospital closed @ 5 p.m.

They told my husband that they wanted to keep her over night, but i know
there is no one there to monitor, so ...since i was @ work, i said, he
needed to call them, and tell them either they were doing the surgery
tonight, or she was coming home with me. We had a sneaking suspicion that
there was a blockage involved. BUT, it wasn't till after she came home,
that she vomited, as Dan was trying to give her a cc of laxatone and warm
water. Now we know!!! When i got up this morning there was a huge, dark
almost dried pond of ??? , that i wasn't sure, but assumed was stool.
That is when we rushed her to the Veterinary Hospital, they kept her and
i came home to work , work, and go to work.

Well, to keep a long story short, please say a prayer for Roxy tomorrow,
as much as she needs your prayers tonight, no one will know till tomorrow
what is going on. She will just have to depend on her mommy, to get her
through the night, i know i w/b bone weary, but i w/not sleep. My
prescious Roxy, is resting...

Regards
donna
