My 9 month old angora ferret seems to like to chew and eat fabric, plastic
and even paper, which I realize is not a good thing. I have read about
this behavior but never had a ferret that liked to partake. I don't leave
much lying around for her to get at but I just recently discovered she had
chewed a rather large hole in the blanket on my bed, and that's not
something I can keep her from. I don't think she has chewed any of her
bedding in her cage though. I give her chew weasels on a regular basis to
satisfy the urge to chew, but there is still some attraction to fabric and
plastic.

She has not had a blockage problem at all, but I know this is a big concern
(I had one of my ferrets die of this).

Any words of wisdom or advice from anyone that has been through this would
be helpful and appreciated.

THANKS!

Dawn
