Lesley, and every one else who is so good at this! A few more details
on the contest.

First, you can submit up to 5 entries at a cost of $5 per entry. Paypal
entry fees to [log in to unmask] or send a check with your DVD.
Please add $1 if you pay by paypal.

To submit videos by email, you can send them in the following formats -
WMV, AVI and MPG - to [log in to unmask] with the subject: Funniest
Ferrets of the FML.

e-mail, though FTP space may be availble is needed. BIG]

Funniest Ferrets of the FML Video Contest Rules

1) All videos must be no more then 2 minutes 30 seconds in length. They
must contain at least one ferret in the video, but can also contain
other animals and even humans.
2) Entries may be submitted between April 1 and June 30, 2008. Entries
postmarked after the deadline of June 30 will not be accepted.
3) Entries must be new and original material. Please do not submit
video clips that have appeared on You Tube or other websites.
4) By submitting a video for consideration in the contest, permission
for the International Ferret Congress (IFC) to use the images in the
video is implied.
5) All videos submitted will become the property of the IFC, for the
sole purpose of entertainment and raising funds to benefit ADV
research.
6) Video formats that will be accepted are WMV, MPG and AVI.
7) Videos may be accompanied by a sound track or may be silent. The
sound track can be natural sounds, a voice over, music, or some other
appropriate sound.
8) All submissions must be accompanied by an entry fee of $5.00 (USD)
for each entry. Each individual is limited to a maximum of 5 (five)
entries in the contest. The entry fee can be paid either by check made
out to the IFC or through PayPal to [log in to unmask] .
9) Videos may be submitted either by email to [log in to unmask], or
they may be sent on a CD/DVD by snail mail to the following address:

When submitting a video by email, please put "Funniest Ferrets of the
FML" in the subject line.

10) When submitting an entry, please include your name, the names of
any people who appear in the video, and the names of all of the animals
who appear in the video. Additionally, if you have a title for the
video, please include that. Titles are not necessary, though.
11) Videos entered in the contest will be judged by a panel of 3
judges, to be named later, who will rate the videos on 3 categories;
technical quality, entertainment value and creativity. The judges
scores will be tallied by an independent 4th judge.
12)  Winners of the contest will be announced at the Ferret Symposium,
2008, in Pittsburgh, PA. The top 5 videos will be shown during the
first day of the Symposium, and a DVD of the best videos will be
available for sale. All proceeds from the sale of these videos will
benefit the ADV Research Fund at UGA.
