I was doing rounds at work last week and one of my patients happened to
be watching an episode of the simpsons where ferrets were being disguised
as miniature poodles... Wish I could have caught the whole episode. It
looked cute.

RE: the email I received last week with the strange ferret related
attachment... It appears that it was probably not from my ex, (sigh
of relief) but it IS the virus that's been going around (sigh of
frustration). I had always been told that I should never download
anything from anyone I didn't know. Unfortunately this came disguised as
being from someone I knew. Even if it had came disguised as being from
someone else in my address book (like my mom or grandmother-) I still
probably wouldn't have caught it soon enough. My realization is this-
Whenever I attach something to an email. Wether it be a word document
or jpeg file. I always write about what I'm attaching in the body of
the email, or I send an email out before the one with the attachment
explaining what it it. This email had nothing in it and that should have
been my red flag. SO pay attention! Especially if you're like me and
have never had any problems with viruses and let your virus-scanner
software become outdated. So now I'm trying to figure out what I'm going
to do until I get the scholarship/grant money from my university for my
new computer. (hopefully will be soon) until then I hope this thing
won't completely crap out on me...

The kids have received their new apartment. The ferret home that my
friend made for me is more like a piece of furniture than a "cage" it's
SO sharp looking. I've been working on painting it and the kids aren't
sure what to do with the two top floors. (it's nicer and larger than the
ones that the "ferret bungalow" company sells!) It's almost as tall as
me (not saying a WHOLE lot simce I'm only 5"3...) and easily three times
as wide (not that I'm that wide either...) but we're absolutely thrilled
with it.
