Hey there. I was wondering, is there a big list somewhere of
ferret-competent vets, listed by state? If so, that's great, but if not,
if might be something that people on the FML could try and put together and
store somewhere for further use. I'm not thinking so much as a 'best vet'
list, but just an 'existing vet' list - so when people travel with their
ferrets, and have an emergency on the road, they can locate a nearby vet
who knows at least *something* about ferrets! :) Also, people who just
move into an area could use the list to find a new vet.

I ask because I see a lot of people on the FML asking for vet info for a
particular area, and this might be a nice way to put all that info
together. If such a list does not already exist, I would be willing (eep!)
to collate info from people and put it all together, but I could not put it
online (having, right now, nowhere to put it.) Anyone out there who might
be willing to stick it online?

Anyway, lets have a little FML discussion about all this, and if people
think it's something that should get done, I'll try and get it off the
ground.
