And now for something totally trivial:
 
I'm sure everyone out there has seen how the pupils of ferrets' eyes (or
most/all animals I guess) appear to glow if the light catches them right.
I noticed though that the color of the glow is different for all three of
my little ones. Bud's eyes glow amber, Cassie's pink, and Sammy's green.
I thought maybe the color just varied with the lighting conditions, but
over time the color has remained consistent in each ferret. Anyone know
why they'd be different? Maybe it relates to the physical size of the eye?
Cassie's would be smallest, then Bud's, and Sammy's are biggest.
 
Not exactly a question of burning importance, I know, but I'm curious :).
