Hi Everyone,
Your all probably sick of Jerry updates but here is another.  Dr. Marx
called me back this evening(4/8/98) and she thinks the same as I that Jerry
didn't like the mazuri ferret food and was starving herself.  Shes not
completely back to herself 100% but today was like a completely different
ferret.  She played and everything.  Not for a long period of time but a lot
more than she had been.  Dr. Marx is still going to look at her.  I want to
be safe rather than sorry.
 
I also asked her about champ.  I don't know if you all remember but I had
him descented around the end of January because he was poofing everywhere.
3-4 times an hour and most times in his sleep.  We thought maybe impacted
anal glands.  Well he still hasn't healed yet and has lost a considerable
amount of weight.  This worries me.  I asked Dr. Marx about this and she
said he may still have some gland left in there or it could be an
infection.Sometimes he acts as if he can't control his potty habits and
sometimes I just wonder if hes doing this cause he's lazy.  He's also
started to cough and sneeze with the change in weather.  If it isn't one
thing its another.  All part of being a fert mom I guess!
 
Glad Ferrethead & Chloe are healthy, and my son too!  We'll get everyone
fixed soon I hope!  I will keep you all posted on our progress of fert
troubles....Hopefully they are all gone soon!
