There appear to be possibly hundreds of you on the FML and other lists
that feel that Eric and Mary are your friends.  There is some e-mail
letter that you get, you write to Mary, you get your magazines, and I
guess they write there about their problems in them.
 
Why not help a friend of yours?  The first person responding to this on
the FML could say- I will be the contact person.  Start with that person
if you consider yourself friends of Eric and Mary, or just want to help
them.  Everyone who wants to contribute to the care of Mary and Eric can
write to the contact person
 
Ideas:
 
1. If each one of the several hundred people or more on this list that
love Eric and Mary could send $25 every 3 months for a year to a critical
bill these guys have-you would have $15,000 for them paid off by the end
of the year.  The printer was not paid last year?  Find out how much is
owed, and pay it off, so Mary and Eric can get another magazine out.  No
one is getting a magazine until the printer is paid off?  That seems
pretty important.  Pay the company yourselves if this is the bill you
wish to take care of.
 
2. The magazine apparently has to be put on hold until money is accrued.
Help Mary find a job that has full medical benefits.  You guys know her.
What does she do?  Assistant editor somewhere?  I had no idea neither
worked or purchased group or individual medical insurance-IF I understood
that correctly.
 
3. Anyone live near her?  Baby sit the ferrets.  Bring over groceries.
Take Eric to the Dr. so Mary can work full time and get them insurance.
 
4. Hold a raffle for them to earn money to help them.
 
5. Create a web page for them so people know the truth-whatever that is.
I get conflicting statements.  But someone out there knows.
 
You guys are inventive and creative.  You will come up with gobs of ideas.
I prayed AND MEDITATED over this.  It haunted even my dreams.  Time for
those many people that so love Mary and Eric to stop saying the word
compassion.  Here are a variety of ways to SHOW it to your friends-Mary
and Eric.
