THIS IS OPEN TO ALL FERRETS, CATS, AND DOGS, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A
LAKE COUNTY RESIDENT.

During the months of January and February the Lake County General Health
District offers a low-cost rabies vaccination program. Nine veterinarian
clinics have agreed to participate this year across Lake County. The
vouchers are free and allow your cat, dog, or FERRET to be vaccinated for
the low cost of $6.00. These vouchers are available at 42 different
voucher distribution sites, including most city or township halls, the
Lake County General Health District, as well as other local vendors.

For more information call: Stacy Lyles at 440/350-2996.

Stacy has talked to the vets and they use IMRAB.

A big thank you to Lana and Jeff and the Northern Ohio Ferret Association.
The raffles at the Christmas Party raise enough money to get four adrenals
done (the vet raised my fees, but it is still a great rate for the
shelter).

Thanks to Kat Parsons for her help in fund raising. And a thank you to
Sandy Repper. She won the two hammocks in the Lost Ferrets Online Treasure
Hunt, and donated the hammocks to us. They are really nice hammocks too!
They have a sixties look to them and I have one pair of ferrets that kind
of remind me of stoners from the sixties. Very well made by Especially
Ferrets, Aurora, Co.
