My little Scooter did the cutest thing this past week! Last week, I made
a trip down to Wal-mart (I have to travel an HOUR to get to one here in
suburban New Jersey!!!). While there, I "splurged" and bought a pretty,
but cheap ($2.50!) half-moon shaped kitchen rug ... the type with a design
stamped on to the top, and rubber backing. I came home, and put the rug
down in front of the kitchen sink.

Well, my Scooter came out and decided to examine the new rug. He fell *in
love* with this stupid, cheap carpet! He rolled around on his back on it,
tunneled under it, hid under it and peeked out at the world, and actually
curled up on it and lay down for a nap (!) Even funnier, later in the
evening when he finally left the rug and I was handing out treats, he
brought his raisin BACK to the rug, so that he could eat it on his beloved
carpet.

He's been doing that all week, too; everytime I give him a treat, he brings
it back to the beloved rug to eat it. Sometimes when I walk into the
kitchen, I find him just lying on the rug, staring out at the world. He
likes nothing better than when I flip him over and tickle his tummy there on
his beloved rug. Silly ferret!

you!")

Scooter ("Oh, I love this *beautiful* rug")

Paddington ("Is it just me, or is that thing a kitchen carpet?")
