Like many people here I checked out the e-bay sale for the lot of ferret
supplies. It looks like a wonderful set up for someone wanting to own a
ferret or two. If you look carefully they only hoping for $299.00 but
they have a best offer option open. That the auction is for local pick
up only might indicate that they are also trying to find a home for their
ferrets but it's not implied.

If the family is trying to find a home for their ferrets on their own
that is their business not ours. If the people succeeded in finding a
home for their ferrets they should be commended. Here in NC the ferret
shelter is now at 100 fur kids with very no applications to adopt and
very little funds coming in. This way the ferrets will straight to a
new home vice rotting in a over crowded shelter.

Instead of condemming the people, offer to help. Let then know that
there are ferret supporters out there and that when they find a home for
their ferrets have them pass on the information of the local shelter in
case the new home doesn't work.
