I had to take Elvira, one of my 6 fuzzies, to the vet last Friday. He
diagnosed her with a probable, viral, upper respiratory infection. She
was sneezing, coughing, had a temp of 104, and had begun to lose a little
weight. Although he said her lungs sounded clear, he went ahead and
started her on Amoxicillin in the event she may have a secondary
bacterial infection. (Antibiotics do not help a viral infection, only
bacterial.) She is better now, and no more of her buddies are sick at
this point. Hopefully, this is the end of it!
