This is a site that will introduce you to a new veterinary book for
Exotics that is written with a style most helpful to a lay person,
than say the traditional "Pink Book," Ferrets, Rabbits and Rodents.

This new book is titled, Clinical Veterinary Advisor Birds and Exotic
Pets, written by Jorg Mayer and Thomas Donnelly. What makes this book
so helpful is the unique format the authors have used to make it
wonderfully functional. The great thing about the Amazon link is that
it allows you a look inside the book. Another neat feature; if you are
unable to find what you are looking for, you may go to a provided site
and do a computer search, within the book, for the specific
information. Pretty cool.

When an exotics Vet of 27 years is excited about a new book and can
quote new info he picked up because of the ease of searching for a
topic in this book - to me, that says something about the layout and
new approach this book provides. Thomas Donnelly is a contributor in
the Pink Book, Nico Shoemaker is another well known ferret vet from the
Netherlands who is a contributor in this book. Hope it is helpful to
you.

Today is the best day to do a good deed.
